Minutes June 20, 2006 Attendees: John Bragg, Donna Bishop, Lisa Readel, Don Luce, Miranda Shapiro, Mike Smith, Tom Sill, Robert J. Gray, Dave W. Gray. Welcome and introductions Old Business Approval of May minutes – Minutes were approved by a motion by Donna Bishop and seconded by Mike Smith. New Business Special board meeting. Discussion – Mike Smith A presentation of the Winchester Trails proposal will be presented at the Coos County Courthouse at 9 a.m. on June 21st. Mike emailed group on results of that meeting. Review of CRTP operating memorandum of agreement. Discussion. It was decided the Memorandum of Understanding for CRTP members will not be changed after discussion by meeting participants. John Bragg initially thought the MOU needed to be re-worked but after discussion agreed that it would remain the same which was how the rest of the group felt. It was agreed that a mechanism was needed for people that haven’t signed the MOU like the Bay Area Hospital, South Coast Striders, Oregon Equestrian Trails, Coos County Riders Association, and the Coos Backcountry Horsemen. John Bragg agreed to email out a document for people to sign and requested that people print out it and bring a signed copy to next month’s meeting. Don Luce asked about helping organize a carpool for South Coast Strider participants. This had been discussed in the past and it was decided to maintain a position of not helping create a carpool for liability and safety reasons. An updated map of the Winchester Trails System will be added to the website. Mike Smith agreed to get Tom Sill a digital copy of the revised map. Don Luce suggested creating a subcommittee for the South Coast Striders. Adjourn |
